[001] The invention relates to a method and a vehicle for the partial replacement of old sleepers of a track by new sleepers according to the preambles of claims 1 and 2. US Pat. No. 6,655,296 describes a method and a machine for the renewal of defective sleepers of a track already known. Before removing the rail fasteners, base plates are connected to the rail. Thereafter, the old threshold to be renewed is pulled laterally out of the track with a slightly raised track and inserted the new wave with a threshold changing device. Old and new waves are transported away with a threshold gripper and fed. The machine also has a ballast clearing device.
From FR 2 917 101 a vehicle and a method for laying and receiving sleepers are known.
